Kansas City Dodge Fans Focus on the Challenger and the Charger
At State Line Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, our Kansas City Dodge dealer, we’re excited for the new string on Dodge commercials. The Chrysler Group has finally finished its latest batch of television ads for the Dodge brand. Though they’re still sporting the vintage theme, the Scat Pack versions of the Challenger and the Charger take the stage as they star in this new wave of advertisements.
Charging and Challenging
Performance and history have been two strong themes in their recent marketing endeavors. These ads have often features the Dodge brothers and high-performance Dodge models from the last 100 years, while still advertising the 707 horsepower Hellcat models of the Challenger and the Charger. Back at it again in these two latest ads, the Challenger and the Charger use slightly less power and a more affordable twist to entice performance enthusiasts to check out the Scat Pack versions of the 2-door and 4-door muscle cars.
It is quite evident that the Chrysler Group has made a shift in marketing as the Dodge brand is a performance heavy brand and markets everything else coming second. This is most obvious in the past 8 months of television ads.
The first new ad featuring the 2015 Dodge Charger Scat Pack is a most unusual ad. It shows the bright red Charger sitting in a garage with the driver revving the engine, while the headlights flash in Morse Code.
The second ad features the 2015 Scat Pack Challenger and Charger. It begins with a smoke-filled screen. Soon, you’ll realize that you are watching a burnout in reserve as the smoke dissipates. As the smoke begins to clear the screen, you can hear both Scat Pack models doing a big burnout. As it continues to rewind, Kansas City Dodge fans will enjoy this one as the camera finds John and Horace Dodge doing burnouts in a pair of original Dodge models from the early 1900s.
